No. 10 offers comfort, elegance and plenty of space for friends and families looking to spend time together with the added bonus of being in the charming town of Brecon.
With seven bedrooms, 5 of them en-suite, a stunning dining room and wonderful first floor drawing room opening onto a pretty, sloping garden the house is a fabulous location for every type of occasion.
The house sleeps 14 adults very comfortably with the possibility of up to 3 more with children sharing parent’s bedrooms. Five of the bedrooms have the flexibility of the beds being double beds or set up as twin rooms. One bedroom is only available as a double and the seventh bedroom is twin beds only.
The dining room will seat up to 18 at a grand table in the Georgian part of the house whilst the Victorian ‘Palladian’ staircase leads up to a glorious drawing room at the back of the house overlooking the garden. The garden, rising up above the house has views of both Pen y Fan – the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons, as well as the cathedral on the hill to the north.
The kitchen has been equipped to cater for large groups and opens onto a sheltered courtyard beneath the garden. This area hides a historic icehouse built under the garden.
Two bedrooms are accessed off the Georgian staircase, another two are on the first floor in the Victorian part of the house. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor with the seventh bedroom above the old washhouse at the back of the building. The two smallest bedrooms share a bathroom with all the others being en-suite.
The cellar has been converted to house a subterranean den with digital TV and table tennis table. This area reached by internal steps can also be accessed off the street and thus provides safe storage for bicycles and other outdoor gear.
The house has WiFi.
If the house is booked for a week departure will be at 10am the following friday. We have the flexibility to accommodate mid week bookings and long weekends.

What does the booking price include?
The price you pay includes:
- The hire of the house – normally from 2pm on a Friday – either for a week or a weekend.
- If you have a weekend booking there is normally a flexible ‘kick out’ time on the Sunday.
- The house is fully centrally heated, beds are made up, bath towels and hand towels are provided.
- Loo rolls, bin bags, dish washer tablets, washing up liquid, basic condiments are all on site.
What is the total the house sleeps?
No 10 sleeps 15 in 7 bedrooms but we have 2 additional put up beds.
What facilities are there for babies?
We can provide a travel cot, cot bedding and a high chair. There is a stair gate across the stairs going down to the basement.
What are the bathroom arrangements at No 10?
Five of the bedrooms are en suite, we have 6 bathrooms in total – these offer 2 stand alone showers, 3 wall mounted showers over a bath and one with just a bath.
Does No 10 accept dogs?
We are afraid that we do not accept dogs at No 10

Is there a BBQ & garden furniture?
Yes there is a large, gas fuelled BBQ and a large garden table with chairs for 8.
Is there parking at No 10?
No 10 does not have it’s own parking but there is plenty of free, residential parking in the quiet surrounding streets
Is the kitchen well equipped?
The kitchen has a large dual oven cooking range, 2 fridges and a freezer as part of the upright ‘american style’ fridge. There is a dishwasher as well as two sinks. We are used to providing for group accommodation and there is ample crockery and cutlery for 18 plus as well as plenty of dishes, pans, trays to cater for your party. We have tumblers, wine glasses and champagne flutes.
What laundry facilities are there?
There is a washing machine and tumbledryer in the basement.
Is there WiFi?
No 10 has a home hub which allows WiFi in the area of the house that it is plugged in for – this can be moved between the ground floor and the drawing room area on the first floor.
Can we play music at No 10?
No 10 has a CD player and radio in the drawing room on the first floor.
Is there storage for bicycles / outdoor gear at No 10?
You can access the basement from a seperate door onto the street, this can also be used for children’s buggies, dirty wellies and all that other gear you do not want cluttering up the front hall!
